We use personal data to:
(a) create and manage user accounts;
(b) provide and administer simulated challenges;
(c) track and verify performance for eligibility of real payouts;

Payments and payouts are processed via Stripe. Identity verification (KYC) for payout eligibility is conducted by Stripe. Stripe may process personal data as an independent controller for compliance purposes. Bettora does not store card numbers or bank account details. For further details, please consult Stripe's privacy documentation.
We use reputable third parties to support the Services, including but not limited to:
(a) Stripe (payments, payouts, KYC and compliance);
(b) Supabase (authentication and database services).
These providers process personal data on our instructions where applicable, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) or other approved mechanisms, to protect your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR.

(c) for dispute resolution and enforcement of our Terms.
When data is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted or anonymised.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; residual risk cannot be eliminated.
Subject to conditions and exemptions, you have the following rights:
(a) right of access to your personal data;
(b) right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
(c) right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
(d) right to restriction of processing;

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services, measure performance, and remember preferences. Where required by law, we will request consent for non-essential cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any consent tools we provide.
The Services are intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us, contact admin@bettora.co and we will take appropriate steps.
Bettora may use programmatic logic to evaluate simulated performance against challenge criteria. Such automation is limited to simulated metrics and administrative decisions (e.g., pass/fail status and payout eligibility). You may contact us to request human review of a decision where legally required.
Our Services may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties. Please review their privacy policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email where appropriate.
If you have concerns about our data practices, please contact admin@bettora.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): www.ico.org.uk.
